Nexus kicks off Innovation & Entrepreneur Weekend, WHNT-19

The Rocket City is full of bright people just waiting to break into the world of entrepreneurship.
“We’re known for being brilliant and smart,” Gilbreath said.
Perhaps their big break starts in Huntsville this week during the Innovation & Entrepreneur Weekend happening throughout the Rocket City.
“Innovation hopefully will bring them out of working their day job and ways of doing things that they’ve never thought about before,” Gilbreath said.
BizTech, Nexus Energy, the Chamber of Commerce, and AL.com don’t necessarily want you to quit your day job, but they do want to help you develop your passion.
“We have those resources here to plug into and mentors and advisors and just a whole list of resources that would be hugely beneficial for somebody who’s at home tinkering around,” Gilbreath explained.
