Nexus, a nonprofit organization that works to help residents and businesses save energy and cut their power costs, moved to its new location at 6767 Old Madison Pike, Suite 730, last fall, increasing their footprint from 700 to 2,500 square feet. Executive Director Ruchi Singhal, who started the business in January of 2010, said Nexus works year-round on energy-efficiency projects and technologies across the state.

Through Nexus’ new partnership with Avocent, Emerson Network Power will showcase new products, host training sessions and hold conferences throughout the year. Nexus spokeswoman Megan McFerran said the partnership gives both companies the opportunity to promote clean and sustainable energy in the Huntsville community.
