About AlabamaWISE

A program of the non-profit Nexus Energy Center, AlabamaWISE empowers Alabama households of all incomes to save money by saving energy. Families say they appreciate saving money, but they usually say the most valuable benefit are home comfort and clean indoor air quality.

The AlabamaWISE.org is a community based program to simplify buying energy efficient home improvements. AlabamaWISE has a very select list of referrals to certified contractors, and access to low interest financing and quality assurance to ensure homeowners are delighted with the experience during the remodel. Seed funding for AlabamaWISE comes from the US Dept. of Energy Better Buildings Neighborhood program.
