Green U: A festival for the environment

Join us for the 2011 Green U Festival, August 27 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Huntsville Botanical Garden.

Green U is a one day Family-Friendly Festival for the Environment!

Join us to hear guest speakers teach us how our community can become more ecologically friendly. Regional businesses specializing in “green” products and services will be on hand to educate and demonstrate their offerings. Participate in a variety of workshop and hands-on events to teach you how to “be green.” Local schools will also be involved with projects, stories, games, contests and demonstrations. “Gallery on the Square”

This month, Nexus is teaming up with the Huntsville Art League in their newly opened the “Gallery on the Square.” A new strategy for “Gallery on the Square” is Corporate Partnering. “Partnering” ties us into a larger audience with a wider diversity of the population.

This Gallery is in the same building as the Nexus office at 200 Westside Square on the Lobby level.

Southern Solar will be showcasing their amazing display on various solar, geothermal and other energy technologies at this event. It will be a great opportunity for you learn about how this local company is increasing renewable energy demonstrations in Huntsville and working closely together with Nexus to promote “Green Job Training”.
