The list below provides some of the most common State and Federal Grant sources for Nexus Energy Center and other energy community members. If you know of another grant source that should be added to the list, please email Daniel Tait.

 

Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA):
ADECA compiles and updates the status of federal stimulus money disbursements throughout the state.

ARPA-E:
A new organization, ARPA-E (Advanced Research Projects Agency), has been created under the Department of Energy to stimulate innovative energy research.

Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance:
(CFDA) provides a full listing of all Federal programs available to State and local governments (including the District of Columbia); federally-recognized Indian tribal governments; Territories (and possessions) of the United States; domestic public, quasi- public, and private profit and nonprofit organizations and institutions; specialized groups; and individuals.

Clean Energy Alliance:
A group of business incubators around the United States that mentor clean energy entrepreneurs and provide various other services.

Clean Cities:
A Department of Energy sponsored program that promotes alternative fuels and transportation technologies with informative factsheets.

Fed Biz Ops:
Fed Biz Ops is a website clearinghouse for opportunities to contract with federal government.

Grants.gov:
All federal grant opportunities for all federal agencies are compiled here. You can also sign up for automatic email updates.

Procurement Technical Assistance Centers:
PTACs are federally funded centers placed throughout the United States to assist small businesses in navigating through the federal procurement process. The PTAC office for North Alabama is located at the University of Alabama Huntsville.  Information on the North Alabama PTAC office can be found at:

Provides all information about federal stimulus spending across the nation.
