The list below provides some of the most common Corporate Grant sources for Nexus Energy Center and other energy community members. If you know of another grant source that should be added to the list, please email Daniel Tait.

 

Boeing:
Recognizing that climate change and pollution are serious global concerns, Boeing has set a clear strategy to take action as a responsible corporate citizen and neighbor.

Hewlett Foundation:
The Hewlett Foundation makes grants in five core program areas: education, environment, global development and population, performing arts, and philanthropy.

Home Depot Foundation:
Grants, up to $5,000, are available to registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, public schools or tax-exempt public service agencies in the U.S. that are using the power of volunteers to improve the physical health of their community.  Grants are given in the form of The Home Depot gift cards for the purchase of tools, materials, or services.

Lowe’s:
The Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation is dedicated to improving the communities we serve through support of public education and community improvement projects. Founded in 1957, the Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation (LCEF) has a long and proud history of contributing to grassroots community projects. LCEF awards millions annually to diverse organizations across the United States.

Surdna Foundation:
The Surdna Foundation makes grants to nonprofit organizations in the priority areas of Sustainable Environments, Strong Local Economies, and Thriving Cultures.

United Technologies Corporation:
UTC is proud to support causes that affect its businesses and employees. UTC funds qualified 501(c)3 U.S. organizations.

Wal-Mart:
Through financial contributions, in-kind donations and volunteerism, the Walmart Foundation supports initiatives focused on enhancing opportunities in our four main focus areas.
